Creating a Space for Comfort and Style

A Residences, designed by Elpis Interior Design Pte Ltd, is a residential apartment that embodies the perfect balance between comfort and style. Inspired by the idea of returning to a cozy home after a long day at work, this design focuses on creating a space that allows homeowners to relax, enjoy leisure activities, and indulge in home cooking.

One of the unique features of A Residences is the cabinet design, which incorporates fine groove lines to hide the openings and create a seamless flow with the ceiling strip design. This attention to detail adds a touch of sophistication to the space. Additionally, the use of green materials for the vinyl flooring, with its wood-like finish, adds a touch of glamour and warmth to the house.

The design of A Residences also takes advantage of the timeless beauty of wood. Different textures and tones of wood are used throughout the space, giving each area its own character. The study and dining areas are highlighted by a punch of blue on the walls, creating a relaxing and productive atmosphere. The furniture in these areas is kept in a cozy white, providing a neat and positive contrast to the space.

One of the challenges faced during the design process was the need to hide all the wires without concealing them in the walls or ceiling. Elpis Interior Design Pte Ltd came up with a smart solution by concealing the wires in the strip surrounding the ceiling. This not only solved the technical challenge but also added a unique visual element to the space.

The apartment is designed to maximize the use of natural light and provide a connection to the outdoors. Full-height windows bring in ample natural light and offer stunning views of the surrounding greenery. Homeowners can sit by the window, relax, work on their laptops, enjoy a cup of coffee, and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.

A Residences is a 93 square meter apartment located in Singapore. The project was completed in 2017 by Elpis Interior Design Pte Ltd. The design team, consisting of ZhiQi Lee, Thitiwat Manoonpon, and Frederick Chow Chang Wai, worked closely with the homeowners to understand their needs and lifestyle, ensuring that the design met their daily requirements.

This exceptional design has been recognized for its excellence and innovation. A Residences was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2021 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is given to designs that are well-designed, practical, and innovative, meeting professional and industrial requirements. A Residences stands out for its integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and its contribution to creating a better world.
